A Rolls-Royce is more than a motor car. It is a work of art.

Rolls-Royce released another special edition car, a version of The Ghost. It’s called the WraithKryptos Collection and it’s more mysterious than anything else.

Deriving from ancient Greek, the name ‘Kryptos’ refers to all that is concealed.

More than just an ultra-limited edition Silver Wraith, the Wraith Kryptos Collection is both an homage to England’s history in cryptography.

The Wraith Kryptos Collection is an alternate reality game limited to just 50 players — all buyers of the 50 Wraith Kryptos Collection coupes.

Clues are patterned into the headliner with fiber optic lighting, the base of the Spirit of Ecstasy, embroidered into the headrests, and most spectacularly, embedded in flakes of green mica in the Delphic Grey paint.

The key to the code is stored in a safe in the office of Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvö, with only one other person — Rolls-Royce Bespoke designer and amateur cryptologist Katrin Lehmann — privy to the information.

Owners will be given access to an app in order to play, with Rolls-Royce presenting an unnamed prize to the first to crack the code.
