TCL has announced that it’s going to release five new soundbars that support Dolby Atmos and will be more affordable.
The Alto 9+ is the fanciest of the bunch, arriving with Dolby Atmos 3.1 channel and an external subwoofer, The higher-end soundbars are designed for larger TVs, but also have more premium features, like Dolby Atmos support as well as compatibility with Chromecast and AirPlay 2.
Dolby Atmos will surely be the defining feature for many, but there’s also RAY·DANZ technology for providing higher-end sound as well as a built-in center channel speaker that pairs with a wireless subwoofer.
TCL Alto 9+ is that it sports a more unique design here than the others, with large gaps in the casing that are said to create “an incredibly immersive, ultrawide soundstage.”
TCL also confirmed the prices for the Alto 9+, Alto 8I, Alto 6, Alto 6+, and Alto 3. They will retail for USD299, USD179 , USD129 , USD79, and USD59 respectively. Pretty affordable prices, if you compare them with most soundbars.
All five of the new TCL sound bars are slated to begin rolling out starting at the end of the month through October.
