Maverick AV Solutions has announced the launch of its Teams platform training for educators, for teachers utilising the Microsoft Teams Platform, beginning at Dagenham Park Church of England School.

The training course is broken down into five modules, with a basic introduction to Teams and a full exploration of the platform. The course can be delivered in English, German, Spanish, French and Mandarin, with tutorial delivered live through a Teams call. Across the modules the teachers will learn how to utilise and organise their students, empowering them to create their own methods of education. Attendees will learn how to utilise and organise students to create their own methods of education, with the final session providing a number of scenarios in which participants can apply their knowledge alongside a platform review.

As teachers become more confident with the Teams platform, lessons can be presented and work managed more efficiently. This has a direct positive impact on the key performance indicators of students which will help to ensure that hybrid education is a viable and desirable method of teaching.

David Johnson, general manager, Maverick AV Solutions said: “Microsoft Teams has become essential for modern learning at all stages of education. Many educators are familiar with the use of Microsoft Office, however the transition to hybrid working requires all new skill sets. We have created and tested a set of training sessions for our integrators to deploy rapidly into the education market.”

The Teams training launch coincides with the launch of a smart learning bundle from Logitech, which enables video collaboration using Microsoft Teams in the classroom, available from Maverick throughout Europe.
